Day 9

All smiles again this morning!  Ready for a fun day out.




Today we visited the Chen Family Temple.  It was built in the 1890's and is a beautiful place with carvings, painting, architecture and sculptures.  Our guide, Kelly, explained that it was not a religious temple, but more of a museum.  It is well cared for and repainted every 5 years to keep it looking so colorful and new.

Kelly took us shopping at the Pearl Market where we bought some presents for our children. 
Several stories of pearl, jewelry, trinket, embroidery and silk shops.



We had lunch at a Chinese restaurant near our hotel.  Kelly ordered many dishes for us, all very good.  Even this:
